How to Unlock Any Blackberry Handset
- Insert any SIM card.
- Go to Settings Menu and then Options.
- Select Advanced Options and then SIM Card.
- Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard for all models , except 7100
for which you will have to Type MEPPD. (You will not be able to see
what you type) - Type MEP then [ALT] & then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard for all models
except 7100 for which you will have to Type MEPP2. (You will not be
able to see what you type) - You should be presented with a prompt “Enter Network MEP Code”.
- Enter the Unlock Code you just purchased.
- Press Enter (You can use the track ball as well).
- Your BlackBerry is now unlocked.
How to Unlock Blackberry 6xxx, 7xxx, 88xx Series
Handsets
- Insert any SIM card.
- Go to Settings Menu and then Options.
- Select Advanced options and then SIM Card.

** If your Bold 9700 is locked to Telus / Bell Canada,
then follow the Instructions below :-

- Go to Settings Menu and then Options.
- Select Advanced Options and then SIM Card.
- Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard. (You will not be able
to see what you type) - Type MEP then [ALT] & then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard for all models
except 7100 for which you will have to Type MEPP2. (You will not be
able to see what you type) - You should be presented with a prompt “Enter Network MEP Code”.
- Enter the Unlock Code you just purchased.
- Press Enter (You can use the track ball as well).
- Your BlackBerry is now unlocked.
How to Unlock Blackberry Bold 9700 Handset locked to Bell Canada
You will need 2 unlock codes that we send you. (MEP and SP Codes)
1. Insert any SIM Card.
2. Go to settings menu => and then Options
3. Select Advanced options => and then SIM card
4. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (You will not be able to
see what you type)
5. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (You
will not be able to see what you type)
6. You should be presented with a prompt “Enter Network MEP Code”.
7. Type in the MEP Unlock Code you just purchased.
8. Press in the trackpad to confirm
9. You will get a message CODE ACCEPTED and the phone will return to the
“Personalization” screen
10. Type MEP [ALT BUTTON] 4 and you will be prompted to enter the Service
Provider.
11. Enter the SP Code sent to you by us and press the trackpad
12. Your phone is unlocked.
How to Unlock Blackberry Bold 9700 Handset locked to Telus Canada
1. Insert any SIM Card.
2. Go to settings menu => and then Options
3. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
4. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (You will not be able to
see what you type)
5. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 4 on your Blackberry keyboard (You
will not be able to see what you type)
6. You should be presented with a prompt “Enter Service Provider Code”.
7. Type in the Unlock Code you just purchased.
8. Press in the trackpad to confirm
9. You will get a message CODE ACCEPTED and the phone will return to the
“Personalization” screen
10. Your phone is now unlocked.
How to Unlock Blackberry Bold 9650 Handset
1. Insert any SIM Card
2. Go to settings menu => and then Options
3. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card

*Please note that after unlocking your Bold 9650, you will need to do a
Battery Pull and then go to Options/Mobile Network and change Network Technology
to GSM/UMTS and select 2G.
How to Unlock Blackberry Bold 9780 Handset
- Power the phone with a not-allowed SIM card and you will be prompted to
enter the code. - Enter the code you just purchased.
- Press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm.
- Your phone is now unlocked.
OR
- Insert any SIM Card.
- Go to Options/Device/Advanced System Settings/Sim Card.
- Type the letters MEPD (You will not be able to see what you
type) - Once you see the Personalization Screen type MEP [alt] 2 (You
will not be able to see what you type) ** If your 9780 is from
Telus, Canada you will need to type MEP [alt] 4 - Enter code you just purchased when prompted.
How to Unlock Blackberry Bold 9900 Handset
- Power the phone with a not-allowed SIM card and you will be prompted to
enter the code. - Enter the code you just purchased.
- Press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm.
- Your phone is now unlocked.

Tip: Turn the phone sideways so you get the full qwerty keypad

2. Turn off all of the wireless connections
3. Go to Options and

6. Hit menu select show keyboard
